Image C is a magnification of the bottom left half of image B. Note the areas of brightness between the leaves. You can see that the areas between the leaves are generally brighter than those areas just beyond the edge of each leaf that are not near an adjacent leaf. You can also see evidence of apparent connection between the leaves, little spheres of light, and a stringiness that appears to link the leaves.

We were seeing not only an actual invisible aura around the leaves but something potentially much more startling.

Is this apparent structure between the leaves evidence of energetic connection between them? That’s a serious probability. The logic scientists use to draw conclusions about the existence of connection within physical objects in visual images is the same logic I have used to draw conclusions about connection between physical objects in these images and dozens of others we have taken.

Since these particular images were taken with relatively long exposure times—two hours—they do not directly speak to the moment-to-moment communication process predicted to occur between the plant parts. Exploring that will require using several photo-multiplier tubes to measure the ongoing two-way stream of light between the plants. Considering the decades of positive research by Popp and colleagues using photo-multiplier tubes, there is a very real possibility, if not probability, that evidence for light communication will be documented successfully in the future.
